Frequently Asked Questions
How do I join Evolve?

It’s easy, contact us to arrange a free class, see our great facility and meet the coaches!

What is All Star Cheerleading?

All Star Cheerleading is an athletic and powerful sport that involves many components put together in a 2.5 min routine such as stunting, tumbling, jumping and dance. It requires a high level of teamwork and is a fun and inclusive sport. All Star Cheerleading requires individuals for each role as differences are celebrated through team members utilising their strengths to maximise the overall team performance.

What level/class should I enrol in?

We place all athletes in an appropriate team according to a level guideline system, which includes their past experience and age. Speak to us and our coaches will help you choose the perfect team for you!

What do I wear to class? Do I need a uniform?

For training, each athlete will be given a t-shirt upon enrolment. We recommend that you purchase cheerleading shoes to ensure safe training. Uniforms are required for competitive teams and information will be provided on sign up to a competitive team.

What costs are involved?

Fees will be outlined in the handbook and will depend on the team, level and number of squad training hours. There will also be a small registration fee and uniform costs for competitive teams. A full breakdown of costs will be available for each squad. We have many options including non-competitive teams so there is something for everyone! If you would like to know more please contact us.

What is the weekly commitment required?

We have different teams for everyone, ranging from non-competitive (recreational) cheerleading to competitive teams under our All Star Program. Depending on the team, the time commitment could be 1-4 hours per week. We will ensure each athlete is put in the perfect team for them considering their desired level of involvement and past experience.
