Evolve Global Dance + Cheer Games Hawaii 2027 Tryouts
Join us for a chance to represent Evolve at The Global Dance + Cheer Games.
Date: Saturday, 23rd May 2026
Time: 1pm-2:30pm
Tryout structure:
-A brief warm-up, including tumbling
-Stunt skill session
-Learning a 1-count-of-8 dance break
Tryout cost: $10 cash payable on the day, please note if you won a Global Games bid in 2025 there is no tryout cost.
Teams will be formed to ensure success for both the athletes and the team.
About the Competition
Global Dance + Cheer Games Dates: TBC – Approximately Mid-May 2027
The Global Dance + Cheer Games is an international competition welcoming teams of every nation, level, and style. More than just a competition, it is a full experience designed to celebrate dance and cheer on a world stage.
The event includes an opening Parade of Nations and Ceremonies, where teams march proudly under their country’s flag, followed by a fireworks display over the Pacific Ocean. Throughout the event, participants will have the opportunity to connect and build friendships with international teams from around the globe.
The competition itself is a two-day championship open to all levels across dance and cheer, culminating in a prize-giving party with live DJs. The event concludes with a Closing Ceremony where teams come together to celebrate, and the overall Grand Champions are announced.
Competition Costs
Please note the below is a guide only. Final pricing will be confirmed once the team is selected and places are secured.
Base Package – Approximately $4,600 per person
The package is expected to include return flights from Melbourne to Honolulu with Qantas/Hawaiian Airlines, airport transfers, 8 nights accommodation at a resort-style hotel in Waikiki, and all event entry including the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and Parade of Nations. Accommodation is based on quad share, with triple and twin share upgrades available at an additional cost.
Athletes should also budget for an additional competition fee of approximately $300 per person on top of the base package price (unless part of the bid winning team).
Optional Extras
Additional experiences such as a traditional Hawaiian luau evening will be available for families to add on, with pricing varying by age group (approx. $275-$315).
Travel insurance will also be available at an approximate cost of $200 per adult, with dependent children under 25 covered free on the adult policy. Insurance includes medical, cancellation, luggage, and personal liability cover.
Training Costs
Training fees will be additional to the travel package and will be communicated separately once the team is confirmed.
