Evolve All Stars- Coaches Code of Conduct
I hereby commit, to the best of my ability, to uphold the Evolve Coach Code of Conduct. I will try my best to:
- Make safety of the athletes my biggest priority.
- Make Evolve a positive and supportive environment as a motivated, engaged, and energetic coach/administrator.
- Treat athletes, parents, and representatives of Evolve with respect.
- Always communicate openly and speak up when I have a problem or when I see something that does not seem right.
- Arrive at Evolve on time and dressed to represent Evolve, if I am unable to attend, I will let the Ascha know as soon as I can.
- Assist the coaches to develop athletes to the highest standard of stunting and tumbling.
- Aim for the athletes to Hit Zero – placing first is a nice side-effect!
- Teach athletes level appropriate skills.
- Assist the coaches to help athletes reach their goals.
- Keep my knowledge up to date as best as I can by participating in any training offered by Evolve.
- Not say negative things about Evolve or any persons representing Evolve in front of parents, to other clubs or on social media.
- Represent Evolve with pride by displaying and teaching appropriate sportsmanship, ensuring that athletes understand and practise being good teammates and cheering on other teams and clubs, as well as respecting judges, competitors, parents, and spectators.
By doing my best to uphold this Code, I understand I will be acting in the best interests of the athletes under my care, making a positive impact on their lives and building strong athletes with a love for cheer.
